Narsinhpur: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamalnath on Monday said that the government would bring a new policy for sugarcane farmers in the state. Addressing a gathering of farmers in Narsinhpur, he said, “The confidence of industrialists has increased, and they are ready to invest here which will generate employment. Now we are planning to revolutionize the agricultural sector. New sugarcane policy will help farmers to get their dues in time.”
“The previous governments have done nothing for farmers from the last 15 years, and it was a challenge for us. We have waived off the loan of 21 lakh farmers and are planning good policies for the betterment of farmers. We have made a positive change in 7 months and will do best for farmers during our tenure” he said.
