Indian benchmark indices ended on flat note in the volatile session on May 24.
Sensex ended 7.65 points down at 75,410.39, whereas Nifty concluded 10.55 points down at 22,957.10.
HDFC Bank, L&T, Bharti Airtel, BPCL and Axis Bank were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Adani Ports, Tata Consumer, Tech Mahindra, Titan and M&M.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 1,196.98 points up at 75,418.04, whereas Nifty concluded 369.85 points higher at 22,967.65.
