Patna: After garnering victory over thin margin, Nitish Kumar is set to become the chief minister of Bihar for a consecutive fourth time. He is likely to take oath next week but the date has not been finalized yet.
According to media reports, he is likely to be sworn in on Monday on the auspicious day of ‘Bhaiya Dooj’.
He will be visiting the state party headquarters on Thursday and meet the newly-elected MLAs and party functionaries. The elected MLAs of NDA are yet to meet formally and elect their leader. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent strong signals in favour of Nitish Kumar indicating him to be CM for the fourth consecutive term.
