The 2019 China sugar expo concluded on 26th May 2019 in Nanning, capital of southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The expo witnessed the participation of over 800 companies worldwide.
The three-day expo exhibits more than 100 kinds of products in the sugar sector. It was attended by more than 30,000 participants around the world, including experts and businessmen from the sugar industry.
During the expo, the city of Chongzuo, known as the country’s “sugar capital” has signed 13 projects which are worth 10.8 billion yuan (1.57 billion US dollars).
Also, the World Sugar Seminar was also held in Nanning, where chiefs and experts from Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association (BSAI), Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), International Sugar Organization (ISO), and other companies worldwide have discussed challenges and opportunities in the sugar industry.
