Pakistan exports 1,50,000  tonne sugar to China

Pakistan has exported 1,50,000  tonne of sugar to China under the Chinese duty-free incentive package of $ 1 billion.
India has been waiting since long to bag the export quota from China, but Pakistan got the lead by winning a 300,000-tonne sugar export quota.
Razak Dawood, an adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce, Textile and Industry stated that China has extended a duty-free package for export of rice, sugar and 3,50,000 tonne of cotton yarn to Pakistan.
According to media reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan would sign a free trade agreement (FTA) with China on April 28 during his visit in the country under which it will get duty free market share equivalent to the share enjoyed by the member countries of Association of Southeast Asian Nations from China.
