Khanewal, Pakistan: In a surprise raid carried out by the district administration at a warehouse in Khanewal, Pakistan, the team recovered 480 bags of sugar that was illegally stored. Two suspects identified as Ramzan and Hanif have been booked for legally hoarding sugar.
A team of assistant commissioner Zeeshan Nadeem raided at Chak 96/15 and recovered the sugar. The warehouse has been sealed and the government has issued a statement that no one would be allowed to hoard any commodity and strict action will be taken against those found hoarding the commodities.
From the last few months, sugar scam crisis is going in Pakistan and also the country witnessed a hike in commodity prices.
