Islamabad: There is no shortage of sugar in the country, informed the Federal Minister for Commerce Naveed Qamar the National Assembly, reports Brecorder.
In a written reply to a question, he said that the government had not imported any sugar from April-2022 to January 2023 but the private sector had imported 5,827 metric tons of sugar during the said period.
