Faisalabad: Initiating strict action against the sugar hoarders, assistant commissioner (AC) Tandlianwala Noman Ali seized 960 bags of sugar and sealed two warehouses where the sugar was found hoarded.
The spokesperson of local administration said that the AC initiated action following a tip-off and conducted raids and seized 720 bags of sugar-loaded in a truck. AC also raided two godowns from the premises and recovered 240 bags of sugar from the spot.
He stated that the sugar seized from the hoarders will be sold at a government rate in the local market and stern action will be taken against those who will violate the law.
