Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: MP Dr. Satyapal Singh met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and urged him to ensure that the sugar mills clear the pending cane arrears.
He met CM Yogi Adityanath and raised several issues related to the sugarcane farmers including the expansion of the Bagpat sugar mill.
Sugarcane farmers claim that they are facing financial hardship due to the delay in cane payments. They are unable to meet the daily needs of their families due to lack of funds. The government should take steps to ensure that the sugar mills clear the pending cane arrears.
Yogi CM assured that the payment would be made soon and other works would also be completed.
