Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: The sugarcane crushing season for the season 2023-24 concluded at the district headquarters’ LH sugar mill.
The gates of the sugar mill were shut as the crushing season came to an end. Initially, Bajaj Hindusthan Limited’s sugar mill in Barkhera was the first to end operations. Subsequently, the cooperative sugar mills in Purnapur and Beesalpur concluded their crushing seasons. Following the closure of the sugar mills, the process of sugarcane planting is underway rapidly. All sugar mills are set to commence operations for the new crushing season in October.
