New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) Union Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Sunday convened a meeting of Ministry officials and discussed the issue of trade promotion within the country.
Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Hardeep Singh Puri also attended the meeting to chalk out the further strategy to promote trade across the country.
According to the sources, officials gave a detailed presentation of the functioning of the Ministry during the meeting.
This was the second consecutive meeting of Mr Goyal with officials as on Saturday he also met Ministry officials and discussed the roadmap ahead.
Mr Goyal had assumed the charge of the Ministry on Friday.
