Khatauli, Uttar Pradesh: Deputy Cane Commissioner Saharanpur OP Singh interacted with farmers of Tajpur village and informed them about the benefits of potash in sugarcane cultivation, reported Amar Ujala.
He said that organic potash is also available now and can be used as well. Farmers should use potash to get a good crop.
Interacting with the farmers of Tajpur village on Thursday, the Deputy Cane Commissioner inspected their sugarcane fields and said that potash keeps sugarcane healthy and also increases its weight. He shared his experiences with the farmers by interacting with them.
The Deputy Cane Commissioner told the farmers that they must also protect the crop from disease that occurs in sugarcane.
