Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh: District administration has started preparation to conduct elections for the three sugarcane committees in the district, reports Live Hindustan.
The voting is expected to be conducted in June this year and there are around more than one lakh voters in the district. The government will nominate one director on each committee and he will not be able to vote but will be able to contest elections. A minimum of nine directors will be elected for each committee and these members will choose a chairman and vice-chairman for them. The election process will be conducted by the Cooperative department.
