Bhogpur, Punjab: Cooperative minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhwa inaugurated the Bhogpur cooperative sugar mill with increased capacity of 3000 TCD and 15 MW power generation plant. The mill’s crushing season was also started.
The enhancement will increase the crushing capacity of the mill. The mill would earn Rs 42.50 crore through power generation and it will help in clearing cane bills of farmers.
Addressing the gathering, the minister stated that the state government has taken several steps to make the sugar mills self-sufficient.
