Nakodar, Punjab: Nakodar, Shahkot and Phillaur subdivisions based sugarcane farmers are still awaiting to get pending cane dues worth Rs 448.15 lakhs for the 2020-21 season from Nakodar cooperative sugar mill limited.
According to the news report published in Punjabnewsexpress.com, farmers have stated that despite the repeated appeal to the sugar mill the mill has failed to clear their pending cane dues.
I. P. S. Bhatia, managing director of the mill said that the mill has paid can dues to the farmers that have sold their cane to the mill up to February 16, 2020.
