Puranpur: Due to technical issues, the Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill closed again on Wednesday morning. Upon the mill’s closure, the weighing of sugarcane was also suspended. Mechanics are working to rectify the problem, reported Amar Ujala.
Since the beginning of the current crushing season, the sugar mill has been unable to perform regular crushing operations.
Upon the mill’s closure, the weighing of sugarcane was halted. Farmers are uncertain about when the issue will be resolved and when the mill will resume operations. The General Manager of the sugar mill, Ramakant Verma, explained that the mill had closed due to the breakage of the RBC chain. Efforts are underway to repair the chain.
