On Tuesday, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd reported a net profit of Rs 61.34 crore for the first quarter concluding on June 30, 2023, of fiscal year 2024, reports LiveMint.
During the last fiscal, the company reported a profit of Rs 49.27 crore in the first quarter.
The total income of the company declined by 9.50% in the first quarter to Rs 843.04 crore as against Rs 931.55 crore during the last year, said the company in a filing to the exchange.
As per reports, crushing for sugar season 22-23 with 3 units namely Jawaharpur, Nigohi & Ninaidevi recorded the highest-ever crush.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 380, down by 0.11% on the NSE on Tuesday.
