Baghpat: Ramala sugar mill has started cane crushing from the jurisdiction of the Baghpat sugar mill. The mill had increased its expansion capacity two years ago under the guidance of chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
According to the news report published in Jagran.com, Dr. R V Ram, manager of Ramala sugar mill, said that in the current season, the target of sugarcane crushing was 86.60 lakh quintals, but the mill has exceeded the target by crushing 97.23 lakh quintals.
The mill began crushing operations on November 4. As the Baghpat sugar mill is not operating this season, the Ramala sugar mill is procuring cane from the farmers in the jurisdiction.
