Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh: Rashtriya Kisan Shakti Sangathan office-bearers on Friday met the unit heads of sugar mills to demand payment of pending sugarcane dues. The office-bearers warned of a Satyagraha agitation from June 15 if the demand is not met, reported Live Hindustan.
RKSS state president Patel Shri Krishna Verma and district president Manoj Kumar Fauji met the unit head of Rudhauli sugar mill in Basti, Ompal Singh, unit head of Gola sugar mill Jitendra Singh Jain, and cane GM PS Chaturvedi.
Mandal organization secretary Santosh Singh Bhadauria said that if the sugar mills do not make payments by June 15, a Satyagraha will be launched.
