Hyderabad: Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Development of Northeast Region G. Kishan Reddy has asked the state government to first reopen Nizam Sugar Factory, the promise it had earlier made to the people, reports The Hindu.
“Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had promised the farmers nine years ago that he would revive the Nizam Sugar Factory but nothing has happened so far,” he said in a press conference on Sunday.
“The CM had promised of reviving the public sector units including the mill within 100 days after coming to power in 2014 but has failed to do so till now,” he said.
