Sitamarhi: Omprakash Dhanuka, CMD of the Riga sugar, the mill has stated that the sugar mill will start cane crushing operations from next crushing season.
Addressing from the premises of the sugar mill through a video conference, he said the mill will start operations after we start ethanol production at the distillery unit. We will get Rs 7 crore from the sale of ethanol that will be used to pay the dues of cane farmers and workers.
This year the mill performed puja at the mill premises but could not start crushing as the labourers and workers did not resume the work on time.
