Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh: On Monday, a meeting of the Rashtriya Lok Dal officials was held at the local office, to discuss all the problems farmers are facing. They also discussed the sugarcane arrears issue and asked sugar mills to clear the dues.
Ompal Singh, district unit head of RLD, said that the government has failed to address the farmers issue. He said, “Sugar mills should clear the dues as soon as possible or else farmers will have no option but to protest to press for their demands.”
