Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the banner of RLD launched a protest at the DCO office demanding pending cane dues, reports Dainik Jagran.
Farmers have demanded that the Chief Minister should ensure that they get their cane dues on time and the government increases the crushing capacity of the Baghpat sugar mill.
Farmers under the leadership of RLD national secretary Sukhbir Singh Gathina met district cane officer Dr Anil Kumar and put forward their demands. They submitted to him the memorandum of their demands addressed to the Chief Minister.
