Mumbai, Jun 28 (UNI) The Rupee strengthened by 15 paise to 68.92 against the greenback in early trade on Friday, bolstered by easing crude oil prices and positive opening in domestic equities.
At the interbank forex market, the local unit opened strong at 69 and advanced to a high of 68.92 per dollar, displaying gains of 15 paise against the American currency.
Brent crude, the global benchmark, was trading at 66.24 per barrel, lower by 0.47 per cent.
