Aligarh: Satha sugar mill will get the financial assistance of Rs 50.55 crore from the government for the upgradation of the mill, according reports Amar Ujala.
The detailed project report for the upgradation of the sugar mill will be sent to the government by the UP cooperative sugar mill association and the sugar mill.
With these funds, the crushing capacity of the mill would be increased from 1250 tcd to 1700 tcd. For the last five years, farmers were demanding the upgradation of the sugar mill and the setting up of a new unit.
During the last elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had promised the region to set up an integrated sugar complex at the Satha sugar mill and this is the first step towards it.
