Equity benchmark Sensex dropped in early trade on Wednesday.
At 10:22 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 82.49 points lower at 52,687.24 in initial deals, while the broader NSE Nifty slipped 25.15 points to 15,787.20.
Maruti was the top loser in the Sensex pack followed by ICICI Bank, HDFC, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank and Tata Steel.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra, L&T, HCL Tech and Sun Pharma were among the gainers.
