Mumbai: Sensex closed on February 06 at 163.37 points higher at 41,306.03. Similarly, Nifty ended 48.80 points up at 12,137.95.
IndusInd Bank, Eicher Motors, Zee, SBI, and Bajaj Finance were the top gainers on the Nifty50 index, while Tata Motors, Cipla, Infosys, Titan and ITC led the losses.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on February 05 at 353.28 points higher at 41,142.66. Similarly, Nifty ended 109.50 points up at 12,089.15. The rupee is trading at 71.220 against the dollar.
