Benchmark indices ended higher today. On September 30, Sensex closed 1,016.96 points higher at 57,426.92, whereas Nifty ended 276.25 points high at 17,094.35.
In the previous season, on September 29, Sensex closed 188.32 points lower at 56,409.96, whereas Nifty ended 40.50 points low at 16,818.10.
Hindalco Industries, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top gainers on the Nifty. However, losers included Shree Cements, Asian Paints, Britannia Industries, Coal India and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.
