Mumbai: Indian indices ended lower for the third consecutive day as the lockdown has been extended in India.
Sensex closed on May 18, 2020 at 1,068.75 points lower at 30,028.98. Nifty ended 303.75 points down at 8,833.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on May 15, 2020 at 25.16 points lower at 31,097.73. Nifty ended 5.90 points down at 9,136.85.
IndusInd Bank, Zee Entertainment, Eicher Motors, UltraTech Cement and Axis Bank were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Cipla, TCS, Bharti Infratel, Infosys and ITC.
