Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 20, 2020, at 112.77 points higher at 40,544.37. Nifty ended 23.75 points high at 11,896.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 19, 2020, at 448.62 points higher at 40,431.60. Nifty ended 110.60 points high at 11,873.05.
HCL Tech,Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Britannia Industries, ONGC, GAIL, IOC and UPL.
