Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on November 9 at 112.16 points lower at 60,433.45. Nifty ended 24.30 points lower at 18,044.25.
Today, Sensex closed on November 8 at 477.99 points higher at 60,545.61. Nifty ended 151.75 points higher at 18,068.55.
M&M, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, ONGC and SBI were among the major Nifty gainers. Losers included Britannia Industries, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, JSW Steel and Power Grid.
