Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed low today. Sensex closed on 22 February at 1,145.44 points lower at 49,744.32. Nifty ended 306.05 points low at 14,675.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 19 February at 434.93 points lower at 50,889.76. Nifty ended 137.20 points low at 14,981.75.
Tech Mahindra, M&M, Dr Reddy’s Labs, ITC and IndusInd Bank were major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Adani Ports, JSW Steel, Hindalco Industries, Tata Steel and ONGC.
