Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed higher today. Sensex closed on 3rd March at 1,147.76 points higher at 51,444.65. Nifty ended 326.50 points high at 15,245.60.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 2nd March at 447.05 points higher at 50,296.89. Nifty ended 157.55 points high at 14,919.10.
Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and UPL were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, M&M and BPCL.
