Indian benchmark indices ended on a positive note on January 23.
Sensex ended 115.39 points higher at 76,520.38, whereas Nifty concluded 50.00 points up at 23,205.35.
From the Nifty pack, top gainers included stocks like UltraTech Cement, Grasim Industries, Wipro, Shriram Finance and Eicher Motors, while laggards were BPCL, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCL Technologies, Power Grid Corporation and Reliance.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 566.63 points higher at 76,404.99, whereas Nifty concluded 130.70 points up at 23,155.35.
