The domestic benchmark indices ended higher on January 29.
Sensex ended 1,240.90 points higher at 71,941.57, whereas Nifty concluded 385.00 points up at 21,737.60.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty included ONGC, Reliance Industries, Adani Enterprises, Coal India and Adani Ports, while losers included Cipla, ITC, LTIMindtree, Bajaj Auto and Infosys.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 359.64 points lower at 70,700.67, whereas Nifty concluded 101.35 points down at 21,352.60.
