Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 09th August at 125.13 points higher at 54,402.85. Nifty ended 20.05 points higher at 16,258.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 6th August at 215.12 points lower at 54,277.72. Nifty ended 56.40 points lower at 16,238.20.
M&M, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv and IndusInd Bank were the top Nifty gainers. Tata Consumer Products, Coal India, Adani Ports, SBI Life Insurance and Bharti Airtel were among the top losers.
