Mumbai: Sensex closed today on April 9, 2020 at 1,265.66 points higher at 31,159.62. Similarly, Nifty ended 363.15 points up at 9,111.90.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on April 8, 2020 at 173.25 points lower at 29,893.96. Similarly, Nifty ended 43.45 points down at 8748.75.
M&M, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, Tata Motors and Titan Company were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included HUL, Tech Mahindra, Dr Reddy’s Lab, IndusInd Bank and UPL.
