The equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended higher on June 24.
Sensex ended 131.18 points up at 77,341.08, whereas Nifty concluded 36.75 points up at 23,537.85.
Top Nifty gainers included M&M, Shriram Finance, Power Grid Corporation, Sun Pharma and Grasim Industries, while losers were Cipla, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports, Coal India and Tata Steel.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 269.03 points down at 77,209.90, whereas Nifty concluded 65.90 points lower at 23,501.10.
