Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 137.50 points higher at 65,539.42, whereas Nifty concluded 30.45 points up at 19,465.00.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 79.27 points higher at 65,401.92, whereas Nifty concluded 6.25 points up at 19,434.55.
Major gainers on the Nifty included UltraTech Cement, Apollo Hospitals, NTPC, Infosys and Tata Motors, while losers were Tata Steel, Adani Ports, Hindalco Industries, HDFC Life and Bharti Airtel.
