Mumbai: Sensex closed on February 27, 2020 at 143.30 points lower at 39,745.66. Similarly, Nifty ended 45.20 points down at 11,633.30.
Wipro, JSW Steel, Zee Entertainment, ONGC and IOC were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers include Sun Pharma, Britannia, Titan Company, Grasim Industries and Axis Bank.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on February 26, 2020 at 392.24 points lower at 39,888.96. Similarly, Nifty ended 119.40 points down at 11,678.50.
The rupee is trading at 71.624 against the dollar.
