Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on February 4, 143.20 points lower at 58,644.82. Nifty ended 43.90 points lower at 17,516.30.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 3, 770.31 points lower at 58,788.02. Nifty ended 219.80 points lower at 17,560.20.
Hero MotoCorp, SBI, NTPC, HDFC Life and M&M were the top Nifty losers, while gainers included Hindalco Industries, ONGC, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints and Divis Labs.
