Benchmark indices ended higher today. On December 14, Sensex closed 144.61 points higher at 62,677.91, whereas Nifty ended 52.30 points up at 18,660.30.
In the previous season, on December 13, Sensex closed 402.73 points higher at 62,533.30, whereas Nifty ended 110.85 points up at 18,608.00.
Hindalco Industries, ONGC, UPL, Tech Mahindra and JSW Steel were among the biggest Nifty gainers, while losers were Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, HUL and Asian Paints.
