Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 25 October at 145.43 points higher at 60,967.05. Nifty ended 10.50 points higher at 18,125.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 22 October at 101.88 points lower at 60,821.62. Nifty ended 63.20 points lower at 18,114.90.
ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, ONGC, JSW Steel and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories were among the major Nifty gainers. Losers included BPCL, SBI Life Insurance, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Auto and HCL Technologies.
