Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on February 16, 145.37 points lower at 57,996.68. Nifty ended 30.25 points lower at 17,322.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 15, 1,736.21 points higher at 58,142.05. Nifty ended 509.65 points higher at 17,352.45.
Power Grid Corporation, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, ICICI Bank and SBI were the top Nifty losers, while gainers were Divis Labs, Adani Ports, ONGC, IOC and HDFC Life.
