Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 12 October at 148.53 points higher at 60,284.31. Nifty ended 46.00 points higher at 17,991.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 11th October at 76.72 points higher at 60,135.78. Nifty ended 50.75 points higher at 17,945.95.
Titan Company, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finserv, SBI and Hindalco were among the major gainers on the Nifty. HCL Technologies, HDFC Life, Coal India, Tech Mahindra and Shree Cement were among the big losers.
