Indian equity indices end flat in the volatile session on February 25.
Sensex ended 147.71 points up at 74,602.12, whereas Nifty concluded 5.80 points down at 22,547.55.
M&M, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, Maruti Suzuki and Nestle are among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers are Hindalco, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Sun Pharma, Hero MotoCorp, Trent.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 856.65 points lower at 74,454.41, whereas Nifty concluded 242.55 points down at 22,553.35.
Indian rupee ended 50 paise lower at 87.20 per dollar on Tuesday versus Monday’s close of 86.70.
