Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on November 29 at 153.43 points higher at 57,260.58. Nifty ended 27.50 points higher at 17,053.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on November 26 at 1,687.94 points lower at 57,107.15. Nifty ended 509.80 points higher at 17,026.45.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Life, HCL Technologies, TCS and Wipro were among the major gainers on the Nifty. The losers included BPCL, Sun Pharma, UPL, ONGC and Adani Ports.
