Indian benchmark indices ended lower on Tuesday.
Sensex ended 152.93 points down at 81,820.12, whereas Nifty concluded 70.60 points lower at 25,057.35.
Top Nifty gainers are ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Britannia Industries and Bharat Electronics, while losers are Bajaj Auto, Wipro, Bajaj Finance, Hindalco and HDFC Life.
In the previous season, Sensex surged 591.69 points to end at 81,973.05, while the Nifty climbed 163.70 points, closing at 25,127.95.
Indian rupee ended flat at 84.03 per dollar on Tuesday versus Monday’s close of 84.05.
