The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. On May 20, Sensex closed 1,534.16 points higher at 54,326.39. Nifty ended 456.75 points up at 16,266.15.
In the previous season, on May 19, Sensex closed 1,416.30 points lower at 52,792.23. Nifty ended 411.25 points down at 15,809.40.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Reliance Industries, JSW Steel, Nestle India and Tata Motors were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Shree Cements and UPL.
