Benchmark indices ended high today. On December 08, Sensex closed 160.00 points higher at 62,570.68, whereas Nifty ended 48.85 points up at 18,609.35.
In the previous season, on December 07, Sensex closed 215.68 points lower at 62,410.68, whereas Nifty ended 82.25 points down at 18,560.50.
Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Larsen and Toubro, Eicher Motors and Hindalco Industries were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Sun Pharma, Divis Labs, Power Grid Corporation, NTPC and TCS.
